Embrace the Kaos

Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, I've had the joy of being an artist full time for more than 2 decades. Like our city, I have been destroyed and rebuilt more than once.

On November 2nd, 2020, I was hit by a car that resulted in a brain injury and an FND diagnosis.

I was not supposed to get better.

I spent several years down, two of them I have almost no memory of at all.

Yet here I am, learning to live with this condition, making things no one else can, and living almost a normal human life.

I built my own CNC machine, and I taught myself how to design all of my own cuts. 

I make custom animal enclosures and fuse art with bioactivity so that cages for your pets aren't just cages, they are statement pieces.

These days, I’m especially focused on creating wood and resin tables and 3D laser-cut art—pieces that combine craftsmanship, design, and a love of bringing natural materials to life.

I paint, pour resin, build, design, woodwork, sculpt, landscape, crochet, carve, and every once in a while, I even pick up a tattoo machine again. I've been collecting many odd skills over the years and have quite an arsenal ready for use.

My recovery feels like a second chance, and I’m using it to create things no one else can. This is me—rebuilding, reinventing, and sharing my world through art.
